ACTOR BIO

Born and raised in Canberra, Australia, Brendan Kelly was schooled in a wash of private and public schools. While in high school he noticed a lot of classes that didn't approve of "back-chatting" and just one that encouraged it: the class of Dramatic studies. He developed a love and deep passion for learning all aspects of performance and ever seeking the truthful performances actors strive for.
Straight out of college Brendan was accepted into the Canberra Academy of Dramatic Art (now known as Perform Australia) to study a Certificate III in Performance (Acting), and further to complete an Advanced Diploma. The Academy provided the curriculum and professional tutors that shaped Brendan into a more analytical actor and extended his passion for learning the Arts. CADA tutors whiled studying include: James Scott, Doug Chapman, Clare Moss, Rochelle Whyte, Andy Trieu, Nicky Tyndale-Biscoe, Tamzin Nugent, Hannah Cormick, Elizabeth Scott.
Having a deep love of film, many of us feel, Brendan naturally gravitated toward screen acting. And after a time began writing and producing his own work, and submitting entries to film festivals, both domestic and international. Most notably is DYING ART a short that saw Brendan awarded Best Director and Best Screenplay in Canberra's short film festival, and won Best Film in several other festivals around Australia.
Brendan has worked in theatre, film, television and voice-over.
